Powered by volunteers and staff, Community Care Peterborough supports the health and well-being of individuals, caregivers, and communities. As a trusted healthcare partner, our high-quality programs allow people across our rural and urban regions to maintain their independence and dignity. This organization was founded on the belief that we are all responsible for wellness and social inclusion in our community.
Through a network of community offices throughout the City and County of Peterborough, our staff and volunteers provide a variety of essential services to seniors (60+) and adults with physical challenges (18+) empowering them to live at home.
We offer our programs and services to residents in the City of Peterborough and to all the residents of the municipalities of Peterborough County. This includes the communities of the Municipality of Trent Lakes, Selwyn Township, Township of Asphodel-Norwood, Township of Cavan Monaghan, Township of Douro-Dummer, Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, Township of North Kawartha, and the Township of Otonabee - South Monaghan.
When requested, we also offer our support to our neighbours who reside in the communities of Curve Lake First Nation and Hiawatha First Nation.
As a non-profit charitable organization, Community Care Peterborough relies on the generosity and support of individuals and community groups. Every dollar you share with us will be used in our community, empowering people to live at home.
Partial funding for Community Care Peterborough has been provided by Ontario Health East. Use this link to see our Funding Model.
Please note: We are experiencing a high demand for some of our services and wait list time can vary by community. We do our best to accommodate the needs of our clients with our limited resources.
